Our Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing seniors.
Looking forward to welcoming them back from break tomorrow!

Sometimes in our Veterinary Science program it is easier to learn a skill first on a model as opposed to the real thing. It is amazing the number of things we don't consider as being necessary to learn until we closely examine a profession.

You know what they deal with a lot in our Dental Assisting lab? Teeth!
Big surprise, we know!
Check out this cool pic of students working on a model in the lab.

We call these Electrical Trades fellas "The Grin Guys", because they always seem to be smiling.
Here they are posing with their instructors.

Here is to a wonderful 2025 for all!

We hosted a graduation ceremony in December for the recent grads from our Postsecondary Center. We wish them all the best as they embark on the next facet of their lives and careers. Proud of them all!

Recently our Culinary students partnered with administration to deliver hot beverages and breakfast pastries to teachers and staff as a way to say "Thanks" via our "cafe-to-you cart". All goodies were made in house, from scratch, by the junior class.
And their efforts were greatly appreciated.

Our high school Cosmetology program organized activities at the school that raised $2,832 for the fight against breast cancer.
The program was happy to present the check to the United Way recently.
We appreciate the students’ efforts for this great cause!

Junior and Senior Dental Assisting students, with the assistance of their instructor Kris Hall, organized our annual school wide toy drive, collecting items for Karis' Cause. The students collected over 730 items to send to Nationwide Children’s Hospital Oncology floor.
Awesome!

From us to you!

Our Career Development team wore ugly sweaters to celebrate the season, but their spirits are anything but ugly. Good people, who do good work. Santa’s elf, Mr. C-TEC, even got to assemble some “toys” for our Career Development lab.

Our Criminal Justice cadets joined the Newark Division of Police as they held their Cops & Kids event recently at Walmart for Newark City Schools students. We appreciate the NPD for letting us be a part of this event every year during the Christmas season.

6th grade students in our Career Connections class at Licking Valley Middle School recently wrapped up their Next Gen Entrepreneur Projects! A big thank you to Beth Bobinski & Rachel Foulk from Destination Wellness in Newark for speaking to our girls during National Women’s Entrepreneurship Week!

Our final Elf on the Shelf pic for Christmas. Our own elf Ginger recruited a buddy, and together they turned the tables on SRO Deputy Thomsen.
Have a great rest of the holiday season!

It may be wet, cold, and foggy some nights, but that does not stop our postsecondary Firefighting students from practicing. #skillsmatter

Criminal Justice cadets Adriana, Asmita, Mia, Nolyn and Addison recently went to the Licking County Library in Hebron to put on a forensic activity for grades K-5. They shared a "fingerprint" song and gave elementary age visitors a crash course in understanding their amazing fingerprints and how unique they are.
We love this!

Every once in a while we share a photo series called "Teaching Hands." Here is another example. Hands on is how we do it at C-TEC. Thankful for dedicated and talented instructors.
