C-TEC was proud to host the first event for #OhioTechDay
Yesterday, with our partners OhioX and New Albany Data Center we hosted the national nonprofit Be Pro Be Proud in Ohio for the first time to inspire Ohio students to explore tech careers.
The mobile lab (a giant semi truck that travels the country) gives students hands-on tech experiences using Meta Quest Virtual Reality (VR) and makes it fun for them to explore tech and skilled trades careers.
Ohio Tech Day is September 27th, and we were thrilled to be joined at the launch event by community leaders, elected officials, and educators from across Central Ohio.
Thank you to the folks at Meta, Ohio X, and Be Pro Be proud who made this all happen.
