Thrilled to announce that C-TEC Postsecondary Center instructor Lisa Pierce-Burger has won the "2024 ACTE Postsecondary Professional of the Year” award.
Lisa was selected as the winner among nominees from 19 states. Lisa is the lead instructor/coordinator for the Postsecondary Center’s State Tested Nurse Assistant program. She coordinates programs at C-TEC and with Central Ohio Technical College at its Pataskala and Coshocton campuses.
Lisa was previously recognized as Ohio ACTE’s “2022 Postsecondary Teacher of the Year” award winner.
As a registered nurse with over 39 years of experience, Ms. Pierce-Burger exemplifies what it means to have a passion for healthcare. During her 8 years at C-TEC Lisa has prepared hundreds of students for careers in the healthcare industry caring for our most vulnerable populations.
