SELECTION PROCESS

  • All applications received by the Priority Application deadline (first Friday in February) will have an equal chance of being selected.

  • If a student meets the minimum admission guidelines, they will be identified as a candidate for direct admission into their first choice program.

  • If the number of applicants is less than or equal to the number of available seats in a student’s first choice, the student will be offered admission into the program.

  • If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available seats in a student’s first choice, then all qualified applicants for the program will be placed into a lottery system to determine which students will be offered admission. Students not chosen will be placed on the Waitlist and offered admission to their second choice program if there is availability.

  • If a student does not meet the minimum number of credits for admission, the application will be placed on the Waitlist until the minimum criteria are met or an Improvement Plan is in place.

  • Students will be notified by mail of their application status during Spring Break.

  • If a student applies after the Priority Application Deadline and meets the minimum guidelines then they will be considered for admission, if seats are still available in their first choice program.

  • If no seats are available, then the student will be placed on the Waitlist and offered admission into their second choice, if there is availability.

**All admission offers are contingent upon the student

successfully completing their sophomore year**
