Program Requirements:
WorkKeys testing and a copy of high school diploma/GED
Two-step TB test
A BCI/FBI background check (code #472309) and BLACK scrubs will be required.
Competencies covered include patient preparation, specimen collection techniques, processing, safety, and compliance considerations. Students will also receive their CPR credential through American Heart.
Students who successfully complete the program will sit for their NHA (National Healthcareer Association) CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) credential. Once certified, the student will be eligible for entry-level positions as a certified phlebotomist within a clinical healthcare setting.
