Individualized Transition Education To Careers (ITEC)
The goal of the program is to support students with unique learning needs to learn independent skills in the world of work and in the community.
Upon successful completion of the work training component (where students identify their interest and aptitudes and build skills) the ITEC Coordinator works with parents, families and agencies to develop a paid placement.
The ITEC Coordinator supports student success by developing leads, analyzing job requirements, helping answer questions, assisting with orientation, advising employers about workplace accommodations, and enhancing communication between employer and employee.
