Cybersecurity & Information Technology (CIT)

The Cybersecurity & Information Technology program helps students gain the critical skills needed to compete and thrive in today’s technologically driven world. The curriculum includes cybersecurity, computer technology (software and hardware); and computer networking technologies (wired and wireless). By the end of the junior year, students will sit for their PC Pro and CompTIA A+ Certification exams and have a surplus of skills to begin working in an entry position in the IT field. During the senior year, students will be fully prepared to sit for their CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ Certification exams and also will sit for Network Pro Certification.

Program Specifics

The Cybersecurity & Information Technology program is geared for the student who enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems while working with technology. Students in this program need to have a desire to maximize their existing knowledge of PCs, software, technology, and electronics through our hands-on curriculum. Dual enrollment courses are available through Central Ohio Technical College. Students must meet COTC dual enrollment criteria to receive credit.
