
Put safety into action. In this program, students in the junior year learn the fundamentals of firefighting and emergency medical services, with a public safety core. The senior year focuses on Ohio’s 240-hour Level II Professional Firefighter certification program and the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-B certification program. Upon completion of the program, students have the potential to be hired as a firefighter and EMT at the basic level. |

Program Specifics
The Firefighting/Emergency Medical Services program is for the student who is focused, mature, and wanting to get a head start in the firefighting and/or emergency medical services career area. An interview with students and parents is part of the application process. (Minimum 2.0GPA, Algebra 1, background check and interview required. Biology strongly recommended.)
