1Explore the opportunities and challenges of the in-demand medical world.  Students receive training in the following career paths: nursing assistant, point of care technician, and pharmacy technician. Upon completion of the state required curriculum, students take the State of Ohio Test for Nursing Assistants (STNA), EKG credential, Phlebotomy credential and Point of Care Technician test. Additional certifications earned include CPR, First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator.

Students give personal care to patients in hospitals and nursing homes through clinical experiences.

Program Specifics

The Clinical Care program is for the student who is interested in patient care in the hospital or nursing home environment. Students get clinical experiences during this two-year program.
(minimum 2.5 GPA, background check and interview required. Biology and Algebra I required.)
