Program Specifics

The Medical Assisting program provides students with a working knowledge of the patient and office side of the medical field. Students will train to work in areas such as medical assistants and front office employees,in such locations as doctors’ offices, nursing homes, or hospitals.

During the senior year, the Advanced Job Placement and Early Placement Programs give students a chance to spend half of their school day working in the local community at one of these settings. (Background check required.)
