REFUNDS

Short Term Courses (1 to 149 hours)
C-TEC reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. In such cases, full refunds will be made by the same method as payment was made, except cash payments will be refunded by check. There are no refunds after the first 8 hours of classes (classes under 10 hours no refund after first night). Depending on the date of withdrawal, supply fees may or may not be refunded.

Long Term Courses (150 hours or over)
The refund policy for longer classes is generally as follows:

  1. Charges for assessment services are not refundable.
  2. Once received, books may not be refunded.
  3. Tuition and fee charges (except for assessment) accrue as follows:
  • Prior to 15 hours of class no fees are charged – 100% refund
  • After 15 hours of class, but before completing 30% of the total program hours, the student is only responsible for the number of fee-hours completed. Any amount paid above those hour-based fees will be refunded.
  • After completing 30% of the total program hours, the student is responsible for paying all tuition and fee charges for the entire program. The only exception to this would be charges for specific services not yet received, for example, credentialing or testing.
Refunds by check can take up to six weeks to process. For more detailed information on fee accrual and refunds, consult with the Registrar or see the student handbook at the time of registration.
