ABLE Services
ABLE Program Prepare for GED & other tests
Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) is available at a variety of convenient times and at no charge. These classes are a great way to improve your employability or prepare to enroll in college or other training programs. You’ll learn how to use a scientific calculator (used in the GED tests), as well as prepare for the GED test. You can improve math, reading and writing skills to increase college placement and work-place credential scores.

Power UP/ABLE Orientation
Completion of orientation is required before entering the Adult Basic and Literacy Education classes. At orientation, you will evaluate your current skills and prepare to study for your GED. Note! 16, 17 a nd 18 year old students need special documents prior to orientation.

C-TEC GED Fast Track
Move In! Move Up! Move On! This class is for students who score high on initial orientation assessments and only need quick review before taking the GED Test. Orientation to ABLE Programs and permission to enroll are required. Call Holly Pletcher (740) 364-2263.

Transitions
Prepare for testing, improve your skills, and train to raise your test scores to meet requirements of employers and C-TEC classes or review for college level enrollment. Course content includes applied technology, applied math, locating information and reading for information. Class size limited or by referral. Call (740) 364-2333.

Become an Adult Learning Volunteer
Your experience is all that’s needed to make a big difference in someone’s life. You’ll learn how to tutor non-reading or low-level readers and help students with math anxiety.
